If you successfully installed the dual boot, you should see a selection screen at startup. When I was dual booting, my selection screen was royal blue in background color with beige or white lettering.
If you don't select (using your arrow keys) Windows XP, it will continue the boot to Linux Lite by default. And by default, the selection screen stays visible for less than 10 seconds. It will then go into the Linux Lite boot.
As a side note, this may take a small learning curve, but if you're only using XP to print, you may find it more convenient in the long run to have Windows XP run under your Linux Lite installation inside of a virtual machine using VirtualBox. To me, it's a better option than dual booting.
If your computer is old enough to have XP on it, there is probably a sticker on it with the Windows XP license key. And that key can be used to install your license for XP in a virtual machine.
This link is for installing Linux Lite in a virtual machine using VirtualBox, but it gives the gist of what I'm saying: https://www.freecinema2022.gq/forums/tutor...irtualbox/
As I said, there's a learning curve with it, but we're here to help.
