Unable to reconnect to WiFi when laptop lid is shut

I'm having wifi problem - disconnecting and reconnecting - and sometime stuffs change. My trick is to click the internet icon (disconnect wire or 4 bars) -> uncheck enable wifi.
Then click again same icon and check enable wifi. 10 seconds max. Sheng-Chieh
