Hi Folks,
I am trying to install the Huawei 3G modem drivers for Linux on LL2.4 but have encountered a few problems:
1: If I follow the instruction doc that comes with the drivers, It tells me to go to root, and initialise or open a SuperUser command. That asks me for a password, which I have tried using my password for but it does not accept it. Is there a default SU password, and if so what is it? Alternately, How do I set up a Super User password?
2: I have a Huawei E1750 3G usb modem. Is there another way to install this from the windows software on the modem, maybe using Wine? or do I have to install the linux drivers as I found on the Net?
3: My last question has nothing to do with the above issue, but rather has to do with software availability for Linux. Where can I find a good free schematic drawing and PCB layout program for Linux, or does such a beast not exist?
Best Regards
V.
