power manager, laptop lid locking bugs

I tried many quirks and the system returned healthy from many suspends.
I added my-quirk
Did not use nomodeset.

Still buggy when lid is closed.
What else could over riding the power management ?
Checked /var/log/pm-powersave.log
dmesg etc..
nothing is showing a fail.

If I close the lid, the system comes back buggy whether lock lid or suspend is used.
I'll dig so more
