Hello!

Even if your drives are being constantly accessed, they shouldn't be 100C/212F hot. At that point, you could use it like a hot plate, to keep your beverages warm.

Have you compared other distros, or Windows, to see whether or not they also do this? Here, my systems, HDs, and SSDs all run at roughly the same temperature - whether I use Windows or LL.

Since three different 'puters are all affected, if they're all plugged into different circuits, I'd check my AC line voltage. It could be too high or low, - usually the latter...
