I followed your instructions...
It still errors out when using the Date/Time GUI if I try use the Automatic "Tick Box"
However...
On reading this: http://www.pool.ntp.org/en/use.html
I do have a "*" next to one of the ntp servers, so I think it is auto syncing time..??
