Transparent Feather Background
#1
Jerry, et al., is there a version of the feather without the black background? While I was able to remove the background in Gimp on the wallpaper I made recently, it wasn't as crisp around the edges as I would have liked. A transparent version would be very helpful when making artwork.  Smile

Thanks!

It's beyond my ability to remove all of the black, as graphics aren't really my forte. I compensate by either putting a dark, soft glow around the edges or use a darker background.

If it is okay I can fix it.

Was it created for LL specifically or did you adopt the image as the LL logo? Just wondering if we can track down the source or if the current feather is official and needs to remain that way.

Those are the ones I'm referring to. Smile

Did someone create the feather for you?

They are the source images, therefore there is no better resolution.

I understand. I was just curious if the original artist could produce one without the background but if that's what we have to work with then that's fine.  Smile

To expand on what sysdrum said, would you be opposed to interpretations of the feather for submitted artwork or would you like to keep it as close to the original as possible?

mlsmith, you can set color to alpha in gimp.
color > color to alpha
