How do I create a .iso file of my personal Linux Lite system

The title says it all.
Is there a Lite app to create a .iso of my install system ?
If not, is there another way to do it ?

You can try Systemback. Be aware that it is UNSUPPORTED, but some say it works for them in Series 4.x

I never used any software similar to Systemback before I had Lite ver 3.x installed on my laptop. I've only played with it a bit, but have created 3 restore points on the laptop. I'm going to create a 4th one now that I've upgraded to 3.8 and it is running flawlessly.

Since I also just installed ver 4.2 on a desktop, I've decided to try and get Systemback installed as soon as I'm done tweaking the install to suit me. I'll try and post my results as soon as it either installs and works or as soon as it fails if that should happen. I'm hoping to use the desktop install to try several of the other options in Systemback. I'd like to see what all it's capable of.

I have found over time that dd is the easiest and best way to make a backup ISO but its size is dependent on the size of the partition. For that reason I invariably install linux on a 32GB partition and have a separate partition for personal data. Using something like a 500GB partition took for ever, IIRC I cancelled the process and gave up. Then I realised that a 32GB partition seemed to be optimal for me which I prefer to trying methods of reducing the ISO size with dd parameters.
Just my way of doing it, not a reccomensation!

I think Redo has been unsupported since at least 2014 when I first started using it and Linux.

Pretty much... but I have a usb with tools and I leave it, wow to think about it, I probably haven't used in a year maybe longer ......
Systemback ended support latter of 2016 if I recall....

It's just my sort of luck to find something like Systemback that I really like, only to have it abandoned. If anyone should happen to hear of any news on Systemback, please let us all know.

Yes 4.x series uses Time Shift... I'm sure its good too - I've made a back up just not as much yet as I did with Systemback...
