#1
Hi folks,
Just did a fresh install of Linuxlite 3.8 32 bit on my dinosaur desktop.
Firefox isn't starting, it gives me a crash report.
Chromium isn't launching. When clicked... well nothing...

Accessing the internet is kinda of a big deal.

I don't know how to proceed. Help please Big Grin

Proceed by telling us exactly what your hardware is. Look for Create System Report in the Menu and attach it here.

Thank you. Your CPU doesn't meet minimum requirements to run either of those 2 browsers. You can try a prepackaged version of Firefox v45 or lower from the Firefox archive. Others may know of browsers that don't require SSE2 support in the CPU. Keep in mind any old versions expose you to security compromise.

Thank you Jerry,
At least I know where to stand Smile
I am trying out Bodhi Linux legacy in an attempt to keep the old faithful machine running. If that fails, I'll take it to the recycling I guess :/
Thank you for your help, I appreciate you taking the time to troubleshoot with me.

You're very welcome. In the meantime, please consider a name change. Let me know what you want it to be. Your current choice is prone to misinterpretation.
