Kwin
#1
I did a search for kwin but 0 results, so I assume that no one else has had this problem:

I followed Spatry's instructions to the letter (I think) on his Youtube video on installing this on LL, but it did not work:

No idea what that means...can any one jelp?

Thanks

Hey there, I installed KWin successfully using the terminal with this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z5kiYjg3Rog

combined that with Spat's suggestion of alt+f2 to bring up a launcher and typing "kwin --replace". Replacing the icons and things is just a triviality and not necessary. This only worked until my next reboot, however, and using the --replace command no longer works even though I've verified that all of the kwin bits are installed. This is curious to me and any more input would be appreciated.
