You said that with GParted you can access your HDD. Have you tried the GParted utility inside LinuxLite too? When you boot do you see a flashing cursor at the top left? Maybe try to rebuild the HDD filesystem, not just delete and recreate partitions. Its in the GParted menu "create partition table" and choose MS-DOS / MBR . Hope this helps!

Today, after your reply i used another USB drive (same result) but i clicked direct from the start (when the icon INSTALL is visible) it start's the install wizzard. From the moment that it should change the partition it stops.
Just keep trying...
I've installed linux Mint 19 to test. The installation was also no problem. When i try to install LL4.x i get a short notice about Virtual Box....

Maybe you should download LL 4.0 again and see how it goes., just so you can confirm and discard it's not a corrupted .iso downloaded isssue. Have you tried LL 4.0 in virtualbox? This might be helpful too when narrowing the possible causes for your issue to happen. Hope this helps! ![]()

This might be helpful too when narrowing the possible causes for your issue to happen. Yes, i have done several downloads, different 4.x versions and 3 different USB sticks. No install possible. I only have a fresh W10 installed, not with virtualbox. The resources are not great for virtual box. What i dont understand is that the installation usb drive can see my SSD but can't partitioning it. I think that is also the reason that it won't install. And this is only with LL4.x |
