I never made one, so if the system doesn't do some restore points automatically then no, there aren't any.
But wait, I didn't check, let me do it...

A couple of questions about the link you posted: are making a new account and running all those commands posted by the user misko_2083 alternative to each other? I mean, I have to do both or just one of the two?
Can I just install the program mentioned at the end of the thread? (it seems the easier solution).

Try first the reply #4 by [member=47]Scott[/member] to create a new user account and reboot in to this.
Next if needed and you feel confident to try the method by [member=378]misko_2083[/member] try this.
misko has not been around much recently (unfortunately) you need to keep in mind if you get difficulty, you will need to find a member who is able to help at that level of difficulty.
Best to find that person before attempting if you are not confident to do it alone.

OK, I'll try the first one. Oh, I tried the third option (installing Whisker Menu Restore) but that program didn't restore anything.
