You can make an unofficial one. This is the best way to test the waters of these smaller social media platforms.

All good. Just make sure it is clearly labeled as 'Unofficial'. Cheers.

In my experience, 'breakaway' groups do not usually last for very long, there can be too many forums dedicated to the same cause and I have witnessed that amongst programming groups. Someone wants to sail their own boat, sets up another forum and after a couple of months interest wanes. If you want to give maximum support to LL then I think it wiser to keep everyone here 'in the loop' and concentrate the fountain of knowledge here.  I certainly don't wish to go surfing around multiple groups and will not be joining Telegram. There are ample board categories on this forum and I'm sure that within reason Jerry would be prepared to create any category group you desire.
That is of course my humble opinion - others may differ, but I wish to remain here!

Sorry if I have confused people for whom English is a second language, by using expressions they may not understand.
1) Lenovo T520 i5 LL3.8 8GB ram, fast & stable
2) Medion P4 32bit LL3.8 1GB ram, quite fast & stable
3) eeePC 901 32bit LL3.8 1GB ram, fast & stable
4) eeePC 701 32bit LL3.8 1GB ram, slower & stable but small and light enough to travel with me to New Zealand when visiting family in Blenheim.

Good luck with it!  I tried it on Diaspora, but it kinda flopped.  I hope you have better luck!
