Installed Skype from Lite Software. It starts up fine and logs me in automatically but will not execute any commands not show any of my contacts. Have uninstalled and reinstalled also from the skype site. Any thoughts on getting it to work.

I'm not having any issues with 8.9.0.1 version. In Skype, click on Help, Report a Problem.
One of the minimum specs are: Processor: An Intel Pentium 4 processor or later that's SSE2 and SSE3 capable Open a terminal and do: Code: cat /proc/cpuinfo and look to see if you have sse2 and or sse3 and let us know.

It shows sse and sse3.

Skype would not let me do anything. I have just downloaded and older version and it works fine.

There was an upgraded package, perhaps that fixed it. Please mark thread as Solved - https://www.freecinema2022.gq/forums/intro...uidelines/
