Hello All
Just wanted to mention The Linux Command Line 3rd edition has been released - I think the initial link by Learning is for the 1st edition (let me know if I'm wrong). To get the 3rd edition go to the author's website http://linuxcommand.org/tlcl.php and scroll to this area Quote:Released under a Creative Commons license, this book is available for free download in PDF format. Download it here. and click the word here in the text - "download it here."

I have the printed edition, after I've worked through it I will look at the new online edition too as the extra information, and updates, will be good. There is also a Kindle edition.

Hello,
I am in Chapter 5 now about to start, info, next time. In the apropos section I liked for same - Code: man -k less letters to type LOL. They try to encourage me and so I got a book thingy, it's neat, you open the book in it, and can adjust the angle of the book vertically, to suit you, then at the front are 2 arms you fold it on to the pages and it holds the book up, and the pages open. I am a long way from completing this book, but I am interested to know recommendations of books with tutorials that would be followable after this book to carry on learning the command line ? This way I can try and get them before I finish this book so I can continue on.
