Hi, My printer is CANON MG5350, and I'm trying to print coupons, but it won't print the barcode on it for some reason, looks like some protection.
I've looked online and other people had problems with their Windows and MAC computers also.
Some people recommended to use Adobe Acrobat.
I use official printer drivers.
What should I do?
First time they were half printed, but then the printer stopped printing the barcodes completely.
Oh and the file format is PDF

After a little bit of a search on google it appears that most coupon sites use the pdf format because it allows them to limit the number of copies of a coupon that can be printed. In my opinion, this is most likely where your problem is coming from. You should probably try with a different coupon and see if it will print.

Thank you both of you. Before, i exported the PDF to .DOC, but it hasn't worked. It worked by printing from .PNG
But I'm not sure if the computer will accept the barcode, will something change on the barcode if not printing from the original PDF file? Other than that, the coupon is in lower quality, so if it won't work, I'll try to increase it. Maybe I just had to do some lossless conversion?
@avj: it makes sense, because first time it printed it, but very badly (not sure why, maybe buggy CANON driver, or something in non-proprietary in GNU/Linux.
One other thing. Since the PDF is limited to 1 print. If I download the PDF file again from my email, it should allow me to print it again, right?
Thank you again.

As a workaround I was thinking this:
If you have the pdf open on the desktop, take a screen-shot of the selected area and then print the screen-shot... ?

Have yiou a smart phone with an app that can scan and read barcodes? If so, perhaps that can be used to test what you print.
