What website is giving you that message?

Thank you for the question;  I have now established it's when I want to watch Dailymotion.com videos that I get the message to update flash.  YouTube videos do play.

But I do want to watch those dailymotion.com videos Sad  Any advice?

I have run the update installations but I still can't watch the dailymotion videos.

Is this any video that won't play? I suggest attaching your system specs to your next post - https://www.freecinema2022.gq/manual/hardware.html#report

Get into Synatptic & look for adobe-flashplugin .

Flash is pre-installed in LL.

I get "An error occured:  E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem.
E: _cache->open() failed, please report." when I try to run the Install/Remove Software.

No.  I get "Error:  Restricted extras could not be installed.  Close" when I try to install restricted extras.

Make sure you don't have any package managers open. Then open a terminal and do:

Code:
sudo dpkg --configure -a

It worked when I first installed linux lite, but then stopped.  So far it's everything from dailymotion, and some other music clip websites that use adobe flash.

It doesn't work on the dailymotion site, or any site that have dailymotion videos embedded.  For example, I embed videos from dailymotion onto my website, like this one for example:

http://mooiflieks.com/eendag/eendag006.html

At the above page I see the background still picture for the video, with "You need to upgradge your Adobe Flash Player to watch this video.  Download now from Adobe" written big on it.

I'm attaching the system report as requested, if it could help.

Doing this now.  Seeing something flash-plugin downloading.

@Moo, good stuff Smile @altman, we're certainly grateful for your enthusiasm here, but please look at what LL offers by default before you recommend a fix. Cheers Smile
