I know what you mean. I took the plunge to 2.0 last week and now very happy I did.
It's amazing how someone took it upon themselves to make a better menu for XFCE and out popped the Whisker Menu. Don't think there will ever be a better menu!
I started with 2.0, so I can't comment on the other releases, but LL is by far the best distro I've run to date. Very happy with it. ;D

LL has been the release I've been wanting for so long, had no big issues with the 1x releases, but 2 is the best thing since Windows 2000 which brought about end of the Blue screen issues I dealt with on a daily basis as an IT tech! am sure this distro will be among the most popular soon!
Am lucky I am given decent laptops that have run Vista on a regular basis and am able to play with the releases, and if I go crazy and break the system, it's just part of the fun, have not managed to break anything yet!
I'm just this guy ... Y'know!?
