Libre office - possible to start blank?
#1
Hi.

If installing Libre Office (any OS) as not part of OS, there would nomally be a shortcut named ust "Libre Office" without starting with any template. That opens a sort of "start screen" that show thumbnails of most recent documents.

To get here using the Libre Office that follow the OS install, I first have to navigate the menu and find Office New Document (or spreadshet or presentation), and from then I must close the document template to get where I can see the thumbnails screen.

My question:

[edit while still not posted]
Just figured it out.

Right click desktop New launcher  in field command, just type "libreoffice" and it works  ;D

That is the solution for the problem...
I won't let an old, but fully functional computer die just because some company tell me that they won't make no more security updates to their OS. Thanks Linux Smile
