Double Commander update
#1
Hallo

I have installed Double Commander (doublecmd) with version 0.7.1.2 from April 2016,
is there a way to update to the latest version 0.8

Greetings from Austria

If you add their PPA to the system and then run "Install Updates" I believe it will upgrade package to whatever the latest version is.  (Found info for installing their PPA on this page.)

Just do the following in a terminal to add their PPA to the system:
Code:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:alexx2000/doublecmd
sudo apt-get update

After doing that, close terminal and run "Install Updates" as you normally do to update the system.  Check version of Double Commander after running updates.  If changed to newer version, you're all set.  If not, then uninstall and re-install the program and you'll have the latest version after doing that.
