Code: biker@biker:~ just a couple of commands I use as shortcuts in terminal to find stuff real fast. Before running locate. I do in terminal Code: biker@biker:~ I am not on my Linux-Lite computer right now in my motorcycle shop. But the commands I listed work in Linux-Lite also. Quote:I have been using Cute Reminder whilst in Windows but could not get Wine to recognise it. The only reason I touch a Windows computer is to tune a motorcycle. Wine is no good for this and Windows needs to be running for me to do this. So I cannot help you with that. I am a Linux only computer user. I drink wine, but, do not use it on any of my linux computers. Sorry, happy trailz and welcome to linux-lite. Rok

Hi tonybaker,
Welcome to LinuxLite and congrats to your courage! ![]() I'm not using remind myself, just had a quick look. If you only have 'remind' installed then you would need to use the remind scripting language in a terminal/ on the command line to use it. However there is a graphical frontend available, called tkremind. If you install this you should get a menu entry and a graphical interface as soon as you start it. If you need any help, please don't hesitate to post back again. All the best and lots of fun with LL ![]() |
