installed program not visible in Menu
#1
I have installed MP3gain using Synaptic from the repository -
It appears to be loaded but I cannot find it in the menu -
If I type MP3gain in the Menu search I get an option to" Run MP3gain" but nothing happens .

Am I missing something

IIRC, mp3gain is a command line utility, run from a terminal window.

http://www.hydrogenaud.io/forums/index.p...opic=33263 might get you going. I don't have time today to install it but if I'm wrong someone will chime in.

Update-- Found the EasyMP3gainĀ  which is a GUI frontend for it - installed and it appears to be working OK
