To make a livecd/dvd/pendrive of your system in a simple way I advise Systemback.
It can produce an ISO of your system which can be put on a cd/dvd/pendrive with for instance Unetbootin, Startup disk creator or Image writer.
Of course you can install the livecd/dvd/pendrive to another machine (maybe with another archiecture) too if you like. Just the same as a live-medium you download. Or install on another partition.
Remastersys made the livecd/dvd/usb via ISO in former days, but didn't work right anymore, because: not maintained.
(The beautiful program Clonezilla for backup for instance is great, but it can't do all this. Partition has also to be at least the same in size.)
Systemback has also restorepoints-option. And it can do more...
I'm very happy with this software.
