Voted Today, Linux Distro of the Year
#1
Am a member of some Linux forums and news letters. Today, received a reminder email from LinuxQuestions.org to vote for my favorite distro of the year. Well, Linux Lite is not on the list. In spite of that responded to the tread and manually voted for Linux Lite. It's my hope others will see the post and be curious enough to check it out.
For my needs Lite is perfect. Got to thinking, if enough people manually vote by posting for Lite maybe next year it will make the list. It's a very good opportunity to be heard. Smile  Thanks, Jerry and all, you all are the bomb!

Thanks rbdflyboy Smile I'm a little surprised to not see it there, but I try to take the positive from everything, it just means we have a ways to go in terms of promoting awareness.

To be honest with you tried to install Bodhi at that time only it wouldn't install. Continued my search for a light weight distro and found Lite....haven't looked back since and don't plan on changing any time soon.

I'm also surprised Linux Lite is not on the list. Maybe we need to improve the strategy on promoting LL.

Thanks for posting on http://www.linuxquestions.org/ rbdflyboy.

You're very welcome, they're adding distros as we speak. Only, mine is the only vote so far for Lite...voting closes Feb 3rd.
