Upgrading Ubuntu Base From 16.04 To 17.10

Hey dudes,

I got a notification saying that I can upgrade to Ubuntu 17.10 after I updated LL using the Software Updater. Will this change the my distro or just upgrade the Ubuntu base?

Don't do it!!

Ubu 17.10 is not the Long-Term-Support foundation that Linux Lite is built on. Those "in-between" releases contain a lot of Beta (untested) software.  It's unforgivable when they put Beta stuff in a distro for Linux novices, but to make unwitting Beta Testers out of Linux novices is especially bad.  DO NOT "UPGRADE!"

We don't offer a 'Software Updater' in LL. You had to of gotten this as a dependency of something else.
