When I take a screenshot with Xfce4-screenshooter half of the time the image is blurred. It seems to depend on the type of window which is active.
Full window - blurred image:

Sub-window - no blurring:

When you save the screenshot file on the hard drive and open it with Ristretto you can see that the image was not saved with the zoom at 100% but at 70%, 80%, etc. Is there a way to force Xfce4-screenshooter to always save images at 100% zoom?

your screenshot with Ristretto, click on the magnifying glass with the number '1' in it to see the image at 100%
And this is the issue I'm talking about. When the image is saved as a file in a folder and you open it with Ristretto it will not open at 100% zoom but at 83%, 87% (or somewhere around that) and you have to hit Ctrl+0 (or hit "1" icon) to bring it up to 100% manually. Only sub-windows, like the ones found in settings (the second link in my first post) open at 100% right away. I want all screenshot files to always open at 100%.
The image from my first link is blurred because it was not transmitted to ZimageZ at 100%. The image from the second link (of settings sub-window) is not blurred because it was transmitted at 100%. Both links are from ZimageZ service.
I'll try Imgur, it's probably a better hosting service than ZimageZ. I also have ImageShack and Photobucket accounts, but that's a topic for a separate thread.

Thanks for your answer. I have been using ImageShack QuickShot exclusively for a few years with Windows XP and it would open images always at 100% unless you changed it in settings. I somehow assumed that other screenshot programs are configured the same way, but it appears that lots of them actually resize the image by default.

I have signed up with imgur.com. As expected it is way better than ZimageZ and the issue of blurred screenshots is also resolved. When you open an imgur.com web page with a blurred image all what you need to do is to left click anywhere on the page and it will zoom out to 100% (see my second link above). At least that's how it works with Firefox 30.0.
I have also opened a thread about screenshot utilities that sync with imgur.com service on Ubuntu forums:
