We have a desktop with Bill Gates 10 for my wife and son to use for things they have to do. I use this 9 year old laptop with Linux Lite for everything else. The learning curve is changing fast in Linux and you don't have to know everything to use Linux anymore. It's free and you can learn how to do everything on a OS that kicks Windows to the side.
