no sound on head phones

Hi,

I'm totally new :-[ to Linux (Lite 3.4 32bit). My laptop is
Fujitsu lifebook S2210,
AMD Turion™ 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-52,
AMD ATI RS482M [Mobility Radeon Xpress 200]

laptop speaker - ok
headphones    - low noise only

I've also attached my system report

please help

Hi torreydale,

Yes i've tried volume settings, sound set at 90%, only 5% coming out of headphones.

checked command line:

Still no luck on d headphone sound.
Works fine with built-in speakers tho.
