Is it not a case that their hardware is as yet not supported by the latest kernels?  A case of catchup for the developers as opposed to closing the door on linux at the behest of "the arch enemy" Smile ?

I read this earlier...
My guess is they are possibly using NVME type drive, very fast..??
I had an issue installing on a friendsNUC which had an NVME drive, even Windows 7 needed patching for it to work in Dual Boot.
Upgrades WIP 2.6 to 2.8 - (6 X 2.6 to 2.8 completed on: 20/02/16 All O.K )
Linux Lite 3.0 Humming on a ASRock N3070 Mobo ~ btrfs RAID 10 Install on 4 Disks Smile
