Hello,
I have an EeePC Asus 1001 Netbook with a Spanish keyboard. I cannot get the keyboard to work properly. The keyboard has a number pad that works with the Fn key. There are letters under the numbers. I cannot get the letters to work only numbers appear.
In the Lite config there is no Asus keyboard but there is an EeePC keyboard. This does not work.
I was running Mint on this Netbook but like Lite.
Please help.
Allan

Take a look in the Help Manual under Start Here > Keyboard Function. There will be some suggestions there.

I think I might have encountered your situation sometimes. What I have found that I have a key on my Acer ASPIRE ONE laptop that has a set of blue key functions [Fn] key that toggles them.
Now on my kb I pressed [Fn] + [F11] and it corrects it. I get it when I do an install of various distros. When I try to put my password it tells me I am incorrect only to find that my [t] is producing the [6] character to be displayed.
[Fn] key pressed along with the [F11] at the same time. <<< do this and see if it helps.
(additional info) the [F11] key also has [NumLk and Verr. Num.] script on that key as well maybe your [F11] key has it too. If not look for those under another Fkey maybe it's under another one.
I'v been bashing Windows way before Microsoft.....
