Hello, is there a way to add a password when I restart linux lite? I only have to put my password in when I log off. Also when I log off now I noticed that the screen turns black and I have to reset the PC manually.
Thanks

Check accounts you may have auto-log on enabled.
I'm not 100% certain where this resides as I'm not by my LL box.. But this should be what your looking for..
Possibly under system - login settings

May want to try disabling Light locker..
From menu type in "Light Locker"...

Thing is I never touched any settings it just started doing this recently. Also I'm still looking on how to put a password in at startup, I'm the only user. I will keep searching
Mine was light lock - blank after waking from hibernation... There are a few posts on the subject, from the main forum page; search blank or black screen - may be dependent on the video card or if booting vs waking...
If you don't see something right off - may want to start a new thread; as this one is referring to passwords
You'll have more responses form the group with a new thread..
I found in the manual the section I was thinking of :
https://www.freecinema2022.gq/manual/start.html#menus
Code:
Login Settings - Enable or disable automatic login for 1 user.
If you haven't looked yet....

Thanks a lot, I will try that. I haven't looked there, thank's for the manual link.
I'll search for black screen in the forums.
Thanks again.
