Feedback, webcam software not working

Maybe you should downgrade to the 3.13 kernel or go back to LL 2.6 and do an in place upgrade to LL 2.8, keeping the 3.13 kernel in the process.

After searching the forum several times looking for instructions for rolling back the kernel to a previous version, I opted to just install LL 2.6 and upgrade from there.  Good news, everything is working as expected.

That's cool.

Other than removing older kernels using Lite Tweaks, I haven't jacked with kernel stuff yet.  But I thought if a kernel wasn't deleted, you could choose the advanced/recovery mode option in GRUB and boot from a different kernel that way.

Whenever a new release comes out I usually do a fresh install after making a backup of my personal data. It usually takes about 2 or three days to get everything tweaked back to the way I like it. I had hoped to find some instructions, but instead found that it, as far as I know, is not even an option to be downloaded and installed from the usual repository for lite kernels. It is all good now though, just have a few online accounts left to set back up and everything will be back to normal.
