Welcome and have fun using Linux Lite! Smile

You can find many video tutorials on YouTube. Linux is quite popular and most subjects are common to all distros, except maybe for distro specifics such as a custom Desktop Manager, or a particular text editor or the like.
Probably the most frequent issue that pops up when someone wants to install an application that was meant for say, XFCE, but they chose KDE as Desktop Manager, IS COMPATIBILITY.
A simple rule that keeps you trouble-free, is keep the line with your Desktop Manager. Mixing those, lead to trouble most of the time.

Best regards! Smile

Don't forget the Linux Lite user manual.
Most of the standard questions can be answered in there.
It's really nice! It helped me a lot when over the years.

Welcome.  Is there a reason you chose to install Linux Lite 4.8 instead of Linux Lite 5.0.?  Your profile says you are on Linux Lite 4.8.
