samsung scanner

my samsung scanner clx6260 have run fin under previous ll ver, now i made a clean install of ll 4.2 and scanner dont work the printer goes fine as is the same maskin clx6260 i stopped the firewal did not help

Consider installing the Linux driver for your printer/scanner.  I found it here:

thanks but it is the same driver I have it work fine before with Linuxlite series 3.x but now i installed 4.2 and the printer goes fine but the scanner do not. itś a multimaskin

Has a work around by adding an environmental variable...
Might be worth a try...

firenice03 I tyed it but no success it seem very right for me but,
It seems to be for usb connection My samsung is conectet via tcp/ip direct to the router and hav been so before workt very fine.from all ouers computers windows and linux

still no scanner maybe i have to go back to a older Linuxlite!

I also have a Samsung printer/scanner/copier that is connected via ethernet cable to my home network.
I could not get the scanner to work no matter what I tried.
After much researching, I finally found a solution.

On the printer menu, I gave the printer a static address,
in my case it is 192.168.2.111.

Then I added the line,    tcp 192.168.2.111
to /etc/sane.d/xerox_mfp.conf

Like magic, the scanner then worked.
