Installation protocol
#1
Does Linux Lite generate something like an installation protocol?

I've installed Linux Lite at an older PC of a friend. It has taken hours because of a defect DVD drive. But the system is not totally stable. (Web browsers are crashing, if you load any webpage. This was an error, which occured just after the installation of Linux Lite.)

Now my friend has changed different things. I'm not sure that he has told me all his manipulations. As I looked at the system some days ago, I was suprised, that I could not find the directory "/opt". My friend told me, that he has resized a partition for Windows XP at the same PC, because it needs more space for an application. I assume, that he has deleted the separate partition for "/opt", which I have installed.  :Smile

I would like to compare the current status with my installation parameters. So I wonder, if Linux Lite has generated automatically an installation log and where I could find it.

Sorry about my bad English.

In the Linux Lite system for example on my own PC the directory "/var/log/installer" is empty.

Is there a protocol of the installation or the partitions at installation at another place?
