How do I mount an ntfs Drive
#21
After doing everything above  -  if Linux Lite STILL cannot access the W-10 partition

Boot into Windows 10  +  From an elevated DOS window  (Win+R) CMD

type  powercfg -h off  PRESS Enter

Shutdown completely  /  Reboot into Linux Lite and you "SHOULD" be able to access Windows 10 partition

I hope this helps,
Wink
I teach people everything I know, and they still don't know anything - may the farce be with you

To be clear about the shift key which is universal for ending Windows hibernation schemes: Press the left shift key down first and do not release it while clicking on shut down and hold the shift key down the entire time it takes for the computer to turn off. Do not release the shift key until the computer powers down, and you must be shutting down from a Windows *administrative account as well. Normal user account will not work.
