If I or anyone answered no to each of your questions, how or why would you believe us?

Instead, I'll just say this.  Linux Lite is a Debian/Ubuntu based Linux distribution whose origin is New Zealand.  It is an open source Linux distribution available to everyone on earth.  As such, anyone is free to review the source code to check for these concerns themselves.  If you are doing that with your current operating system, you can do that here as well.
