Lite Software & Install update - errors
#1
L L 32bit and 64bit image contains / generates the following errors on installation or live:
1 - Lite software:
- Updating sources has failed.
Refer to /var/log/lite-software.log for more information.
2 - Install updates:
- Could not fetch the package lists cache information.
Generated by something that is not installed:
- Edit software sources - Other Software -
uncheck:
and everything will be OK
Hard work, seeking solutions on many forums - solve the problem - but it is easier to generate a new image by unchecking or delete the link.
L L is a distribution enjoyable and well done - and it is a pity to be discouraged from first contact with L. L
I was almost ready to give up L L.
Thank you
sorry for my english – translate  google

What does that log file say?

Check this for Google Chrome fix:

The reason you get the error is that Google dropped 32-bit Chrome and support since a few weeks ago.

I don't need Google, my wife knows everything!

You did not understand:
1 - it and 64 bit version
2 - put the stick either 32 or 64 versions and check "live" - consider yourself a beginner who wants L L - and draw conclusions
3 - i posted that maybe we can do something good for this cast of people working for it

If you receive the error message, so the first time you install the Lite and want to install software and / or updates L L, go to edit source - other software and uncheck: http://dl.google.com/linux/chrome/deb/
Sure it run
Same goes for running mode "live"

It looks like you are using 32 bit LL.. Per your tag to the left  ;D

You will want to do the following..

Run the following commands

Code:
sudo rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/google-chrome.list
You will be prompted for your password

Code:
sudo apt-get remove google-chrome-stable

This and the 64-bit instruction is at the following link - Also Note the UPDATE ERRORS at the top of screen
