Hi all,
I first cut my teeth with Slackware Linux about 20 years ago working for a company pioneering video on demand over ADSL. Did that for about 3 years but since then have only worked with Windows and OS X. In the last few weeks I have been trying out many different distros just for fun, nearly got fixed on Manjaro but then came across Linux Lite v2.8 and have been pretty impressed!
However, I did have some initial problems when running Installing Updates immediately after installing only to hit my first error dialog saying "couldn't fetch the package cache information lists" - not a good start but fixable with a visit to Dr Google which took me to https://www.freecinema2022.gq/forums/other...ate-issue/ - which looks like an old problem rearing its head again!
Anyway, liking it very much so far - the only thing I really miss from Manjaro is their boot loader which is smart enough to remember my last used OS (I dual boot with Windows 10). Is that something that could be done for Linux Lite?
