Chromium crashes my T61
#1
I primarily use Firefox but lately when I use Chromium and one of the on-line photo editors (Picmonkey) My T61 crashes.
Firefox gives me errors with Picmonkey and befunky.  Both work fine with my dual boot and Windows 10.  Just curious.
I'm on LL 2.6  4gb ram.

Hi IdigLinux,

I did once tests with Chrome, not Chromium on similar machines. Only after I deactivated "Use hardware acceleration when available" (-> Settings -> Settings -> Show advanced settings...) I got rid of the crashes.

Hope that helps in your case too Smile

By crashing- what actually happens - screen locks?  Black screen? mouse  fails to respond? what?
