Upgrade to 2.6 - one item fails
#1
This is almost certainly a result of the mistaken attempt to install then uninstall Enlightenment earlier https://www.freecinema2022.gq/forums/insta...in-taskbar. I have lost the LL login screen and now have an XFCE (I think) login showing my desktop wallpaper and the square box for username & passwd. Using the lite tweaks to restore the boot splash doesn't work (but no error). And the upgrade to 2.6 displayed the following error: "There was an error while seting [sic] lite-welcome to autostart on first boot ". Otherwise I think the upgrade process succeeded, and CC shows OS as LL versionĀ  2.6.

Hello!

One word. Reinstall. LL does NOT 'play nice' with any other desktop environments.

No harsh words intended, but Ubuntu proper (preferably in a VM) is probably the best way to get a 'feel' for some of the other DEs out there...
