Good morning, Steven!
1) No, the problem with lite-welcome appears after updating everything, including having put everything in Spanish.
2) I don't know if having Dosbox-X installed on the flatpak that I use to use MS DOS, Windows 95 and 98, within Linux has any influence. and Firefox as SNAP.
3) No, it does not appear in any other native linux lite applications.
4) Yes, in the Dosbox-X dialog boxes, you see the characters all displayed as squares. Many times, after restarting or turning on the PC, and once inside my desktop, the WIFI icon appears duplicated. This error occurs especially when after updating, I turn off the PC, and the next day I turn it on again.
In case it helps, I usually update Linux Lite like I did in Ubuntu, all from the command line of the terminal:
echo && echo Actualización completa del sistema ... && echo && echo Teclea clave de superusuario y pulsa intro... && echo && sudo apt update -y && sudo apt upgrade -y && sudo apt full-upgrade && sudo apt dist-upgrade && echo && echo Actualizando el grub del sistema ... && echo &&sudo apt dist-upgrade && sudo update-grub && sudo update-grub2 && echo && echo Eliminando paquetes obsoletos... && echo && sudo apt autoremove -y && sudo apt autoclean && echo && echo Actualizando flatpak ... && echo && sudo flatpak update -y && echo && echo Actualizando snap... && echo && sudo snap refresh
I don't know if this is the problem! Greetings!
