Jerry This dont look Right at All...

Bryan  PS Im Trying my hardest to stay away from Windows, but from the looks of the files that installed in root Im having doubts, also the cdrom worked just Fine Before Install.

Would Love to have you ssh into this machine and shed some light on this.

Remove the installation media and reboot the system.
Ensure it boots ok from the installed OS on the hard disk, then try update.
Post back if there are errors.
