Failed to start journal service

Hi
Trying to install LL 6.2-64. Tried the standard install which ended in spinning wheel on screen. Tried the compatibility mode and that ended in this getting repeated on screen ystemd[1]:Failed to start journal service.

Am I doing something stupid or missing something?

It's hard to tell what's happened.

Would you be prepared to try a standard install again ?
