Openshot Video Editor won't open (launch)
#1
Installed LL6 on 2 laptops and installed Openshot via Lite Software app. Openshot appears in the Start Menu as Video Editor, but will not open. No error msg. Tried launching via mouse click on menu and via Start key + 'open'. Re-booted both systems. Same result. Any ideas? Gil Brand

I am an OpenShot user for years. When the developer version goes sideways (it happens sometimes), I use the .AppImage version. This seemed to work even when the other versions I had, failed to start/work.
So maybe having  the AppImage version somewhere at hand, might prove valuable. Download it, and see how it turns. Eventually, if there are kernel-related problems, try an older AppImage. I still have the 2.4.3 version, in the archives, although... it's (very) oooold!
Hope this helps! Smile
