Overwriting LL5.8 with 6.0 dual boot
#1
Hi

I have a dual boot LL5.8 and win 10. Tutorials seem to be aimed at setting up new partitions ready for new installation. Not sure how to write LL6 to existing LL5.8 partition; overwrite, delete existing partition or just install as per existing instructions? If so, do I still use the 'Something Else' option on the menu as before? Many tnx.

Yes, use the "something else" option, and select the partition where 5.8 is installed, then check/select format to ext4.
Without each others help there ain't no hope for us Smile
