Remove the offending PPA = f-spot  Then rerun updates..

PPA Removal: Uncheck the offending PPA from "Software and Updates" under the "Other Software" tab..
Uncheck the PPA
Then try running updates again..
You can update from terminal or from Menu > Favorites > Install Updates

Aaah! Those PPAs! The love! Wink
Not supprising the Linux Lite team tries to keep them to a minimum Wink

Should be a pop-up asking to deactivate them when one fails. Temporary deactivation would be even better.
A special tool maybe?

Piggybacking a post... the lazy poster's way! Wink

It's up to Ubuntu to sort out this messed up technology. I'm considering also doing away entirely with support for PPA and put it into Lite Software as an option, given that our target audience is Windows refugees they won't know what a PPA is. Linux folk can take 2 mins to add the extra software.

Enter the complete APT line for the Probable Problematic Application (PPA) you want to install.
