Tor Browser...
#1
Noobie here! I'm a big fan of Linux Lite since April 2014 and have been using 2.0 on all of our machines since June (Hoping that this is the forum to ask this question, so bear with me). Everything has been fantastic, until the last major update late, last week. After the update, all of the machines have the Ubuntu 14.04 splash screen. Not really a big deal, however, we keep getting an error when we try to fire up the Tor Browser. It appears to start up and then nothing. When we try to open it again, we get a pop up window that says: Firefox is already running, but not responding...

I go into the task manager to close it, but, same problem when we try to reopen it. The only way to get it working is to restart the machine. has anyone else here run into this problem? and what did you do to correct it?

Thanks in advance!

Get more clue from the terminal.  Open up a terminal and type

tor

[If the executable name is not tor, find the executable name vie menu editor.]
Post the out[put if an error message pops up and you don't understand it.

p.s. Just back from vacation and still catching up.  Pardon me if not back soon.
