I have an older 32 bit laptop which I've pushed as far as as it can go (meaning LL 3.8 using forcepae) and installed TeamViewer Host so I could use it as a headless "server".
Unfortunately, TeamViewer host only seems to exist for Linux starting with version 13 but installing TeamViewer 13 (of any sort) on this machine results in all the windows being either transparent (so I see a copy of what was under the window when it opened) or solid white. :-(
A little web searching suggested this had something to do with a GTK cache but I know nothing about that and the "delete the cache fies" suggested didn't work for me as the path suggested doesn't exist on this machine.
Using the TeamViewer CLI I was able to get the machine ID and can start a connection to it from another machine but with solid white windows I can't see what the password is supposed to be! While I can set a fixed password I would still like to be able to get into the GUI if possible.
Has anybody else run into this issue and do you have any suggestions for how to get around it?
And yes - I realize I could install full TeamViewer 12, which DOES work correctly, and set it to always start but I thought I'd check here first to see if anybody else has found a way to resolve this.

Code:
teamviewer infosudo teamviewer passwd xxxx
