Was home today so I played around with the graphics software Krita.
After today, I can confirm that Krita is infinitely more awesome than Gimp for use friendliness and capacity and about the same size.
If you played around with any graphics products a bit, you'll feel at home in no time. Its available in AppImage or PPS though.
I took some of my old pictures to play around and came up with this loading screen (the diamond spins btw
